this is the first piece i am submitting to the site. when i shot this, i was trying to make the subject appear artificial, like an android.

Welcome, good first post and you definitly got your goal, she looks like an android, but it appears that you cut the background with some software, which mkes it look like photo manip a bit.

I'm not sure how you did the background but she seems to have been cut off and pasted on it. Just an observation, she's got too much details on her skin for a humanoid (atleast the image I have in my head on how their outer shell should look...LOL)
Nice shot nonetheless and kudos to the make-up artist as well.

Nice softness and light conditions in this one!
I might have posted a slightly smaller version as it would be easier for the GFX viewer not having to scroll.

Wishing for maybe more sharpness around those wonderful eyes.

Is that the original hair? it seems to me( after a deeper look) it has some green in it at the borders, still, the image is realy good, the light is perfect, excellent focus, you achieved your goal.

NIce portrait. But I don't like the white background on this. Maybe becasue the silhouette could use some help. Especially around the hair.
